About the London Arts Facilitation Society
The London Arts Facilitation Society (LAFS) was born in late 2025 from a conversation had around the world by many modern creatives
So many great artists are making so much great stuff, but how do they get the money to promote it, The funds to take the time off, and the resources to make the outcome the best it can be?
The Arts council is a good start, but is only an option for the higher art forms. What if there was a creative hub, promotional platform and funding system for modern creatives built with the ‘Low arts’ in mind? A place for musicians, artists, comedians, magicians, computer game designers, wrestlers, film makers, and anything that takes time and love to make, that makes people happy, to thrive in a supportive and funded environment.
LAFS is here to offer just that. A podcast studio and creative film hub in South London that also gives quarterly grants to deserving artists who wouldn’t usually get the chance to make their artistic dream a reality. We offer support as producers and managers of the project as well as funding, and all we ask in return is a podcast appearance, some LAFS promo and for our patrons to gain easy access to the project when complete.
The funding works on a donation basis. As well as making one off donations at our LAFS events, you can also pay a monthly subscription. For as little as £1 a month, you will not only be helping Creatives make great things for you to enjoy, but you will also gain early access to art made with LAFS help, discounted gig tickets, and on a subscription of £10 or more, our exclusive ‘LAFS badge’ that enables you to come to events as a special guest.
LAFS will be helping mostly creatives from low income and diverse backgrounds make art for the people. If you’ve a project you want made, why not give LAFS a try?

Sam Rhodes
Director
Sam Rhodes is a comedian and musician from South London. Ever since seeing the movie ‘Wayne’s world’ at age 12, he knew he wanted nothing more than to be a guy who gets to make things.
After many years working as a composer, session and touring musician and a teacher, he took up stand up comedy in 2014 and has never looked back.
Sam runs regular monthly and weekly shows all over London, has written and recorded many podcasts, radio shows, tv pilots and scripts, as well as releasing 4 comedy specials on both the BBC and Amazon Prime.
All of his work could not have been done without the help of patrons, producers and friends. After 20 years of working in the entertainment industry, it’s time to give the next generation of creatives the access and funds he wished he had starting out.
Jason Weinberg
Director
Jason Weinberg (B.A. Theatre) has devoted his life to performing arts fueled by independent artists.
Through his time in improv, storefront theater, burlesque, variety, and professional wrestling, he has supported his communities through the triumphs and the tough times.
Today, as a commentator and host, he travels great distances to improve the environments where these beloved arts take place while adding some of his trademark panache and enthusiasm.
Jason believes the good art lives in the people, and is excited to help newer artists bring their talents to those people.
Maria Fedulova
Director
Maria Fedulova is a Russian Stand Up Comedian and events organiser, who moved to the UK as a refugee after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia. As someone trying to make art in a difficult circumstance, she knows more than most how hard it can be creating and performing under oppressive situations.
Maria is a BBC new comedian Semi-Finalist with one of the best reviewed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024, and performs as a headliner nationally as well as running fundraisers, parties and organising tour shows for other Russian acts who are no longer able to perform in their home country.
Maria hopes she can find other artists in a similar situation to her to help expose the art to the masses, grow their fan bases and help them reach an audience in a new place.
